September 2004 – June 2013.  For nine years, from 2004-2013, I served on the board of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) at my children’s grammar school. All board members are volunteer parents.  Meetings with the board and the school principal are held every month. The PTO Board plays a crucial role in organizing extra curricular activities and fundraising for the school.

I served on the Hospitality Committee and did some graphic design work where needed. I also designed and organized the first Career Day and Family Fun Day, both featured in the slide show below.  Although four of my six children young are still at the school; I am currently on hiatus from the PTO Board, while I finish my last year of graduate school, which is very time consuming.
