London film critic, Sean Day Lewis, brother of actor Daniel Day Lewis, wrote this review of a BBC film I starred in opposite Ving Rhames and Eriq L Salle. Sean ends the review with: “Eventually the main focus settles on Lili (a nerve tuggingly effective performance by Lili Bernard, full of pain, guilt and fear), a single parent prostitute whose young son Albert is suffering from a childhood which is certain to be as short as it is unhappy. When the boy eats some of the cocaine she, or her clients, have left around, Lili is at last shocked into trying to kick her drug dependency. She may be too late . . .”MurderInOakland
